The recipe results in a precious condiment, to enrich your spaghetti or pennette, and if you add tomato sauce you will have the perfect base for an arrabbiata, for an impromptu pasta after an aperitif at home with friends. It only takes 10 minutes to tuck in to a flavoursome and perky pasta!

Mix two tablespoons of condiment per portion, together with the pasta you have just drained, and the aroma of chilli pepper and garlic will waft up from the plate. You can add a sprinkling of chopped parsley for added zest, if you like.
