Polli's GARLIC FREE PESTO ALLA GENOVESE stems from a long-standing, passionate, and traditional Italian cuisine. Fresh aromatic Basil, 100% Italian, used fresh within 24 hours of harvesting, with extra virgin olive oil and PDO cheese using the traditional Genovese recipe!
In this recipe we have taken out the garlic, leaving a lighter pesto and making basil a more prominent flavour.
The unique flavour of basil, which we prepare according to our traditional recipe, with pine nuts and extra virgin olive oil. Our pesto's creamy texture makes it ideal for spaghetti, trofie, or gnocchi, depending on the traditions of each Italian family.

In Liguria, pesto is traditionally added to pasta with cubed boiled potatoes and courgettes or green beans, giving pasta a greater, fresher taste, with the flavour of the vegetables mixing with the robust flavour of olive oil from the Ligurian hills.
